The short version: the invoices you create never leave your device. There is no server to send them to. This page explains that in full, and is honest about the two things that do involve third parties — advertising and the contact form.

Everything you type into the invoice generator — your details, your client's details, amounts, notes and any logo you upload — is processed entirely within your own web browser.
None of it is transmitted to this site, because this site has no server, no database and no account system. I cannot see your invoices. Nobody can, because they never travel anywhere.
The PDF is produced by your own browser's printing engine, on your own device.
So that a refresh does not lose your work, the tool saves a copy of your draft in your browser's local storage. This is a standard browser feature; the data stays on your device and is never uploaded.

You can delete all of it at any time using the Clear everything button on the generator, or by clearing site data in your browser settings. It is stored per device and per browser, so it does not sync between your phone and your computer.
This site shows advertising to cover its running costs.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may place and read cookies on your browser as a result of ad serving on this site. These cookies, and similar technologies such as web beacons and advertising identifiers, may be used to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
Visitors from these regions are shown a consent message before personalised advertising cookies are used. You can consent, manage your options in detail, or decline entirely. Declining is as easy as accepting, and you can change your choice later through the privacy settings link in the consent tool.
Visitors from applicable US states are shown an opt-out notice allowing them to limit the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising purposes.
The contact page includes a form. This is the one part of the site that does send information off your device: submissions are processed by Netlify, this site's hosting provider, and delivered to me.
If you use it, Netlify and I receive whatever you type into it — typically your name, email address and message. It is used only to reply to you. The form is entirely separate from the invoice generator and has no access to your invoice data. If you would rather not use it, email me directly instead.
This site runs no analytics software. I do not track individual visitors, build profiles, or record what you do on the page. Basic, aggregated request information is handled by the hosting provider as part of serving the site, as is normal for any website.
Some pages recommend third-party services, such as money-transfer or invoicing software. Some of these links may be affiliate links: if you sign up through one, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. They are marked as sponsored links for search engines and labelled on the page.
Clicking a link takes you to the other company's website, which has its own privacy policy. No invoice data is ever shared with these companies, because the invoice tool has no server and never sends your data anywhere.
This site is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
