You wanted to send one invoice. Instead you got an account form, a verification email, and a watermark across the PDF. That is the normal experience with "free" invoice tools, because the invoice is the bait and your email address is the product.
This tool takes a different approach. There is no account, because there is nowhere to log in to.
| What you want | Typical free tool | This tool |
|---|---|---|
| Download without an account | Email required | Yes |
| No watermark on the PDF | Often watermarked | Yes |
| Unlimited invoices | Capped on free plans | Yes |
| Client data stays private | Uploaded to their server | Never leaves your device |
| Works without internet | No | Yes, after first load |
| Add your own logo | Sometimes paid | Free |
Most invoice sites need an account because your invoice is built on their server and stored in their database. This one is built entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. The numbers are added up on your own device, and the PDF is produced by your browser's own print engine.
That has a side effect worth knowing: your client's name, address and the amounts you charge are never transmitted anywhere. There is no server to transmit them to. Your draft is saved only in your own browser's storage, on your own device.
