I built this because I wanted to send one invoice, and ended up making an account on a site that then stamped a watermark across the PDF.
My name is Talha Akhtar. I build web tools. This one started as something I needed myself and turned into a site worth sharing.
You can reach me on the contact page or at talhawork257@gmail.com. I read everything sent there.
Most free invoice generators are not really free. They are a way to collect your email address. You fill in the whole invoice, click download, and only then discover the signup wall — or you get the PDF with the provider's logo across it.
Underneath, an invoice is a short document and some arithmetic. It does not need an account.
The whole tool is a single web page that runs on your device. There is no server, no database and no login.
One consequence matters more than the rest: I cannot see your invoices. Not because of a policy I promise to follow, but because there is nowhere for that data to go. Your client's name, address and the amounts you charge stay on your machine.
A second consequence: once the page has loaded, it keeps working without internet. You can make an invoice on a plane.
Being honest about the limits is more useful than pretending there are none.
Hosting a site of static files costs very little, which is why the tool can be free with no limits. Running costs are covered by advertising on the site. There is no paid tier of the generator and no feature held back behind one.
The privacy policy explains exactly how advertising cookies are handled, and how to opt out.
The guides here — on writing an invoice, invoicing international clients, chasing late payment and others — are written for this site. They are meant to answer the question you actually arrived with.
If something is wrong, unclear, or out of date, tell me and I will fix it.
